1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SidelineHQ ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by SidelineHQ("we", "us", "our").

2. Description of Service

SidelineHQ is a youth sports team management platform that provides scheduling, communication, volunteer coordination, roster management, and payment tools for teams, organizations, coaches, and parents.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. The Service is designed for use by coaches, parents, guardians, and team administrators. Player information is managed by authorized adults.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Share, post, or transmit content that is harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, systems, or networks connected to the Service
• Use the Service to send unsolicited communications or spam
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the Service

6. Payments

Some features of the Service involve payments processed through Stripe. Organizations using payment features act as the merchant of record for fees collected from their members. SidelineHQ facilitates payment processing but is not a party to transactions between organizations and their members.

Refund policies are set by individual organizations. Disputes about fees should be directed to the organization that charged them.

7. Content and Data

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service (rosters, schedules, messages, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and transmit it as necessary to operate the Service.

We do not sell your data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.

8. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed. Content you contributed to shared team spaces (schedules, messages) may be retained in anonymized form.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these Terms or for any reason at our discretion, with notice when reasonably possible. You may stop using the Service at any time.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SidelineHQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
